We are a GROUP OF 7 ARTISTS WITH A VARIETY OF BACKGROUNDS INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHY, DANCE, CINEMA, THEATER, VISUAL ARTS, Edible ARTS, MUSIC, AND DESIGN. A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST, WHO CONCEIVED THE IDEA OF BAOBAH, COORDINATES US.

JUSSARA PARANÁ SANCHES FIGUEIRA (CRP 12/00192)

Jussara was part of the first group of students to graduate in Psychology from UFSC (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina) in 1982.  Jussara also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the same university.  Her career started in the organizational area and she worked with staff training, recruitment, and guided employees through the decision making process for large and middle scale companies in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.  For 19 years, she has been working as a psychotherapist in her own practice where she assists teenagers and adults. Her personal and professional experiences have led her to believe that there is an urgent need for us to broaden our perception of others, of the world, and of ourselves in order to develop new forms of intelligence that have been neglected up until now. In this sense, she sees the creation of art as a powerful means of helping us do so.

Ana Luiza Ciscato

Analu Ciscato was certified as an art educator from the Royal Academy of Dance located in London in 1985.  For more than 15 years, Analu has been working with social inclusion through dance.  By designing specific courses in Step, she adopts methodology from the Martha Graham School of Dance based in New York City.  She also specializes in Psicoballet, a supporting technique for people with disabilities.  She acquired her certification for Psicoballet in 1993 from Cuba.

Using classical ballet as her base, Analu initiated the “Criança que Dança,” project in 1995.  She created this project while acting as the director of the Ballet Carla Perotti Dance Academy in São Paulo. The project led to the serving and inclusion of 180 ballet students who came from the slums of the city’s south side.   In 2003, she brought the Psicoballet technique to the Estação Dançar school, a school she founded in Florianópolis, SC.  Since 2006, Analu has been a teacher and the artistic director of the APAE dance group in Florianópolis.  In 2010, while working in this position, she won the Prêmio Franklin Cascaes de Cultura award.  This award recognizes the most influential works in arts and culture.  The following year, she obtained a teaching certificate for the internationally recognized North American DanceAbility method which proposes innovative inclusion techniques for all people in the dance community.

Cláudia Passos



In the 1980s, Claudia piano and singing lessons at the Music Therapy school Conservatório Brasileiro de Música located in Rio de Janeiro.  A few years later, she majored in journalism at Faculdade de Comunicação e Turismo Hélio Alonso located in Rio de Janeiro. Following this, she sang in a duo with a pianist and performed  in the States of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.  She later worked with various projects for a cinematic company known as SKy Light that produces films.  She worked there with various cinematography techniques as well as served as the script supervisor and editing assistant for some feature films and institutional movies. In the middle of the 1990s, Cláudia Passos moved to Florianópolis, took up singing again, and performed in several bars and theaters. In 2007, she obtained a teaching degree with a concentration in music from UDESC.  As an undergraduate student, she participated in the project NEM – Núcleo de Educação Musical (Musical Education Center) for two years.  In this position, she taught   percussion to kids and teens in the community. Nowadays, she is involved with recording of her first CD – Mar à Vista.

Emmanuel Bohrer Junior



Bohrer Junior graduated in Interior Design and was a project consultant in the training area of BANRISUL where he worked for 15 years. He owns a small business in the gastronomic sector and has taken many cooking and pastry courses. Bohrer Junior worked in the gastronomic sector for six years all over Europe and more specifically in Italy. He is a self-taught artist and works with ceramics, painting, craft, jewelry design, and fashion customization.

Gláucia Grigolo

 

Gláucia Grigolo is an actress, producer, and theater instructor. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Master’s degree in Theater from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina – UDESC. She founded the theater group Persona Cia. de Teatro, from which she developed many plays including F. (2002); Castelo de Cartas (2004) and Nem mesmo a chuva tem mãos tão pequenas (2006).  The group is currently presenting A galinha degolada. Gláucia Grigolo is a theater instructor at Camarim Escola de Arte.  She is also part of the group Vinil Filmes, where she works with audiovisual productions, acting, and producing.

Marisa Naspolini

Marisa Naspolini is an actress, director, teacher, and theater producer. She majored in journalism and became a certified movement analyst at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute in New York. Marisa holds a Master’s Degree in Drama and is currently working towards her PhD.  She has worked in Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina, and abroad including France, Italy, Canada, and Portugal in acting and directing as well as preparing actors.  She studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique (CNSAD), in France and was an intern at the Teatro Potlach in Italy. She is a professor in the Arts Department at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina – UDESC and is also the head of the GESTO association of theater producers in Florianópolis, She is also in charge of Áprika Cooperativa de Arte which develops projects in several artistic segments.

ramon

Ramon André Noro



Self-taught designer who started his career path in communication and expression in 1982, in the city of Caxias do Sul. He worked in printing, in advertising agencies and in photographic studios. He moved to Florianópolis in 1993 and participated in cinematographic projects, working as art director and scenographer. From 2002 to 2004, he was an undergraduate student of Architecture at UCS. Noro has knowledge on image treatment and model making, and currently works as a graphic designer and scenographer.
